We spent a lovely New Year in Shuanglang village on the east side of Erhai lake. There are a few guesthouses there now, but we can highly recommend this one…

When you see this building on your right (it’s the Kuixing Pavilion [魁星阁 kuíxīnggé]), the guesthouse is right nextdoor down a little alley
